The stone has a bright white ground with gray veining, and each sink is unique in its veining and coloration. The form is a U: a rectangular basin whose front wraps around in a curve, with fluted, ribbed detailing carved by hand into the outside. It measures 28 inches long, 18 inches wide and 6 inches high, and the finish is polished.

Ribbed by hand, curved at the front

The fluting runs around the U-shaped front, a series of carved ribs that give the sink architectural interest and catch the light as it moves across the stone. The edges are curved, so there are none of the tight angular corners where dirt and moisture tend to collect in a square basin. The polished interior reflects light, which brightens a smaller bathroom. The veining is natural, so each sink has its own pattern and no two pieces are exactly the same. Moderate color variation between sinks is normal for this marble.

Fluted U form Hand-carved ribs around a curved front, part of the solid block.

Polished finish A reflective surface that brightens the room and sharpens the veining.

Made for compact bathrooms

At 28 by 18 inches and 6 inches high, the sink suits powder rooms and guest baths without overwhelming them, and it works in a primary bath as well. Hung on the wall, it creates a sense of lightness and opens the floor, which matters in a small room that needs to feel larger. The standard 1.5 inch drain hole takes a common drain assembly.

Size 28" L × 18" W × 6" H, solid Calacatta Viola marble.

Drain Standard 1.5" drain hole.

Prepare the wall before hanging

Solid marble is heavy, so the wall needs blocking between the studs at the mounting height before the sink is hung on its brackets. The faucet position, usually on the wall above the basin, should be fixed early so the supply lines can be run to match, and the drain rough-in should line up with the drain hole. A professional installer is recommended for the weight and for a clean alignment.

Why we chose it

Solid block Each sink is carved from one piece of Calacatta Viola marble, so the veining is its own.

Ages with character Sealed marble resists everyday wear and develops a patina that adds character over the years.

Made to order Each sink is made to order, with custom sizes and finishes on request.

Custom sizes

This sink is made to order on two schedules: the 3 to 4 week option ships sooner, and the 8 to 14 week option is the lower-priced choice for the same 28 by 18 inch polished sink. It can also be adapted for non-standard dimensions, a different finish or specific plumbing requirements. Sealing protects the stone, and how often it is resealed depends on use, often about once a year.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0873/7875/5777/files/calacatta-viola-marble-wall-mount-sink-W18xL28xH6-U-form-fluted-front-polished-roomscene_1024x_882474ea-4dc3-4b23-a859-9826a37c13e9.jpg?v=1790876972
https://homeraus.com/products/calacatta-viola-fluted-u-form-wall-mount-rectangle-bathroom-sink-18-by-28-inches
