Calacatta Viola Marble Designer Console Table Polished Finish Curved Arched Legs

Calacatta Viola console, curved arched legs

This console brings a strong architectural presence to an entryway, a foyer or a living room. It is handcrafted in Turkey by artisan stone specialists from Calacatta Viola marble, with a polished white top and bold natural veining. Gently curved, arched legs give it a light look while keeping the structure solid. It measures 40 inches long, 15 inches deep and 32 inches high, and it sits as easily in a contemporary minimalist room as in a transitional interior that mixes older and newer pieces.

Arched legs under polished marble

The arched legs are the defining detail. Their soft curve gives visual lightness and leaves clear floor visible beneath the top, so the silhouette stays contemporary and uncluttered while the legs carry the weight. Above them, the smooth, mirror-like polish deepens the stone and reflects light, which makes a narrow entry or hallway feel more open. The gloss also sharpens the contrast between the bold veining and the luminous white base, drawing the eye without overwhelming the room. Calacatta Viola is one of the most sought-after marble varieties, and because each block is different, every console has its own coloration and veining.

• Curved arched legs A soft architectural curve that keeps the floor visible beneath the top.
• Mirror polish A smooth, light-reflecting face that brings the veining forward.

A slim console for real homes

The 15 inch depth makes it suited to tight hallways, the space behind a sofa and accent walls where depth is limited, while the 40 inch length leaves room for lamps, books and decorative objects. For an entry focal point, hang a large mirror above it. Behind a sofa, layer it with sculptural vessels. Or treat it as a display for art and botanical pieces. The marble's texture and soft white tones create a calm, collected look that anchors transitional and contemporary rooms alike.

• Size 40" L × 15" W × 32" H, polished Calacatta Viola marble.
• Profile A narrow 15 inch depth for entries, mudrooms and living rooms.

Crated and placed with care

The console ships in a heavy shipping crate to protect it in transit. Solid marble is heavy, so plan for two or more people to uncrate it and set it in place, and check doorways and turns beforehand. A level floor lets the arched legs bear evenly, and felt pads or a rug protect the floor beneath. Felt pads under decorative objects also protect the polished top.

Care

Calacatta Viola is a calcite marble with a polished face. It is a porous stone, so acidic cleaners and drinks can etch it and spills can mark it if left to sit. Periodic resealing maintains its protection, and how often depends on use. Small etches and light marks that build up with use are normal for marble and become part of a patina that develops over the years.
