Calacatta Viola Marble Wall Mount Bathroom Sink 12 X 20 Inches Rectangular

A compact Calacatta Viola wall sink

This rectangular wall-mount sink is hand-carved from solid Calacatta Viola marble quarried in Turkey. It has a compact 12 by 20 inch footprint and stands 5 inches high, a small sink made for powder rooms and tight bathrooms. The stone shows white and gray striations that change with the light through the day. Each sink is sculpted individually, so the veining and colour of the one that arrives are unique to it.

Polished stone, curved corners

The sink is polished inside and out, which gives the marble a glossy surface that brings the veining forward and reflects light back into the room, so a modest bathroom feels brighter. The polish also slows moisture getting into the stone. The edges are curved, with no sharp inside corners where soap residue would build up, a practical detail on a rectangular basin. The low 5 inch height keeps the sink slim on the wall. The traditional rectangular shape lets the veining be the feature. Moderate variation in tone and veining between sinks is normal.

• Polished inside and out A glossy finish that shows the white and gray striations.
• No faucet hole The sink arrives undrilled, so the faucet can go where it suits the room.

Small footprint, open floor

Mounted on the wall, the sink keeps the floor open, which matters in powder rooms and compact baths. It can also sit above a vanity, and it suits a bar or kitchen prep area as well as a bathroom. The sink arrives without a faucet hole, so the faucet can be wall-mounted, deck-mounted on the counter, or placed wherever it suits the sink's proportions.

• Size 20" L × 12" W × 5" H, solid Calacatta Viola marble.
• Faucet No faucet hole, for a wall or deck faucet.

Plan the wall and faucet

Solid marble is heavy for its size, so a wall-mounted installation needs blocking between the studs at the mounting height, added while the wall is open. Because there is no faucet hole, decide early whether the faucet will be on the wall or on the counter, and run the supply lines to match. If the sink sits on a vanity, the top must be flat, level and strong, and the sink is set in silicone. A professional installer is recommended.

Why we chose it

• Hand-carved in Turkey Each sink is sculpted individually from solid marble.
• Flexible faucet plan No predrilled hole, so the faucet location is up to the design.
• Made to order Each sink is made to order, with custom sizes and finishes on request.

Custom sizes

This sink is made to order on two production schedules. The 3 to 4 week option ships sooner, while the 8 to 14 week option is the lower-priced choice. If the wall needs a different size or a faucet hole in a set position, a custom version can be made. To start a custom order, contact us with the measurements of the space.

Care

Calacatta Viola is a calcite marble, so it is a porous stone and acids can etch the polished surface. Resealing keeps it water-repellent, and how often depends on use.
