Cappuccino Beige Marble Hand-Carved Art Deco Fireplace Mantel 70x74

Cappuccino Beige marble, Art Deco carving

This Art Deco fireplace mantel is hand carved from Cappuccino Beige marble with a polished finish. It is a generous piece, listed at 70 inches (W) by 74 inches (L), and it pairs geometry drawn from the Art Deco era with a modern sense of proportion. That balance lets it anchor a traditional room or a contemporary one with the same ease. The warm beige stone avoids the cool look of pure white marble.

Stepped lines and soft curves

Art Deco brings structure to a room without clutter. The stepped patterns and curves carved into this surround give it presence through proportion and material rather than ornament. Each carved element catches light differently through the day, adding movement and depth to the fireplace wall. The polished surface reflects ambient light and makes the fireplace a natural point of focus. Natural veining is unique to each piece, and moderate variation is normal, so no two mantels are identical. The carving was shaped by craftspeople who understand how light plays across a dimensional surface.

• Art Deco geometry Stepped patterns and curves carved into warm beige marble.
• Polished finish A reflective surface that brings out the stone's veining.

A shelf with real weight

The substantial top takes styling without looking cluttered. Unlike a thin floating shelf, the mantel adds visual weight that grounds a large room and suits high ceilings. Collected objects, plants or art all sit well against the polished stone. In an open-plan room, the geometry gives the fireplace wall a clear structure, and the warm beige works with wood, brass and cream.

• Size (W) 70" × (L) 74", polished marble.
• Five components Two base sections, two columns and a top piece.

Five sections, set to the opening

The mantel is a five-component assembly of two base sections, two columns and a top piece, designed for a secure installation. Marble is heavy, and the assembly should be installed by a professional who fits it to the fireplace opening and fixes it securely to the wall. Clearances between the stone and the firebox follow the fireplace maker's instructions and local building code. The bases are set level first so the columns and top piece align.

Care

Cappuccino Beige is a calcite marble with a polished surface. Like all marble it is porous, so acids can etch it and strong pigments can stain it. A mantel sees much less wear than a kitchen counter, and whether it is sealed at installation and resealed later depends on use.
