This round end table pairs a polished Carrara White marble top with a copper-painted metal base. It is made in Turkey from first-grade marble. The top is 14 inches in diameter, and the table comes in three heights: 18, 20 or 22 inches. Each piece is naturally unique, with its own soft gray veining.

An X-shaped copper base

The base is geometric, built from metal in an X-shaped cross and painted a copper tone. It gives the table visual balance and a steady footing, and its warm colour contrasts with the cool, polished white of the stone. The top is a 3/4 inch thick marble disc, which adds weight and stability to a small table. The round shape suits tight corners and spots beside seating.

Pick the height to the arm

An end table is easiest to use when its top sits close to the height of the sofa or chair arm beside it. Care

Carrara White is a calcite marble with a polished surface. It is a porous natural stone: acids such as vinegar or lemon can etch it and pigments can stain it if left to sit. Sealing helps protect it against stains, and how often depends on use. Carrara is softer than some stones, and over time it develops a lived-in patina.
