Carrara White Marble Round Vessel Bathroom Sink 16 Inch Polished

Carrara White marble, a 16 inch round vessel

This round vessel sink is carved by hand from Carrara White marble quarried in Turkey. It measures 16 inches in diameter and 6 inches high, and its polished white surface carries natural gray veining that gives the bowl depth. Set above the counter, it becomes a sculptural focal point on the vanity. Each sink is carved individually, so no two are the same.

Polished white, soft gray veins

The polished finish covers both the interior and the exterior, giving the bowl a smooth surface that reflects the light and brings the gray veining forward against the white. The edges are curved and the construction is continuous, which prevents water from pooling and sediment from building up in corners. The color and veining vary from one sink to the next because each is cut from its own block of natural stone. Those variations are not manufacturing flaws; they are the sign of genuine marble and hand carving.

• Polished inside and out A smooth, reflective surface with natural gray veining.
• Curved edges No tight corners where water or sediment can collect.

A neutral bowl for many bathrooms

White marble with soft gray veining sits comfortably in contemporary, traditional and transitional bathrooms. It works with minimal Scandinavian styling and with warm interiors of wood and brass. The 16 inch bowl suits a standard vanity and gives enough room for daily use without crowding the counter. The 4 cm drain hole takes standard drain connections, and the walls are 2 to 3 cm thick.

• Size 16" diameter × 6" H, solid Carrara White marble.
• Drain 4 cm drain hole for standard connections.

Set it on a level counter

Solid marble is heavy, so the counter must be flat, level and strong. A drain hole is cut to line up with the 4 cm drain, and the bowl is set in silicone around its base. Because the rim stands 6 inches above the counter, the faucet must reach over it: a tall vessel faucet on the deck or a wall-mounted spout. Choose the faucet before the counter is cut.

Why we chose it

• Hand-carved marble Each bowl is shaped individually from natural Carrara White stone.
• Dense stone Marble handles the temperature changes of daily use and normal bathroom wear.
• Made to order Each sink is made to order, with custom sizes, shapes and finishes available.

Made to order

This bowl is made to order on two schedules: the 3 to 4 week option ships sooner, while the 8 to 14 week option is the lower-priced choice. If the bathroom needs a different size, shape or finish, the sink can be made to custom specifications. To start a custom order, contact us with the counter measurements.

Care

Carrara White is a polished calcite marble and a porous stone, so acidic products such as vinegar or lemon can etch the surface, and sealing keeps a protective barrier in place. How often it is resealed depends on use, typically once or twice a year.
