Essence Montauk Dark Mosaic A Slate Look Porcelain Mosaics 12x12

Essence Montauk Dark, 12x12, a porcelain Mosaic A with a slate face. Essence keeps the cleft texture of slate and drops the flaking that comes with the real stone.

Natural slate sheds thin layers over time in a busy room; the porcelain face stays as it is. Mesh backing holds the layout in the A cut, which is what makes a mosaic practical on a shower floor or a backsplash.

The body is 9 mm and the edges are rectified, so it lays with a tight grout joint. The surface is matte. One box covers 4.84 sq ft, 5 pieces.

Production is domestic, from the Mount Pleasant, Tennessee plant.
