Frontier20 Vintage Slab is a 12x24 slate look porcelain Grip Stair Tread. Frontier20 is the 20 mm outdoor programme, thick enough to be laid dry on gravel, sand or pedestals.

Slate is split rather than sawn, so its face has a shallow cleft texture, and that texture is pressed into this tile. This is the walking surface of a step, made with a finished front edge rather than a cut one.

The body is 20 mm and the edges are rectified, so it lays with a tight grout joint. The surface is matte. One box covers 3.87 sq ft, 2 pieces.
