Plan for two or more people to uncrate it and carry it into place, and check the route through doors and around corners before delivery. Choose a level floor so the legs bear evenly and the long top sits true. Felt pads or a rug underneath protect wood and tile. Once placed, the console is stable under a lamp, a mirror resting on the top or a full row of objects, and the stone holds its position.

This console is made to order on two schedules. The 3 to 4 week option ships sooner, and the 8 to 14 week option is the lower priced choice for the same size and finish. Care

Travertine is a porous calcite stone. On this console the natural voids are filled and the face polished, which gives a smoother, more even surface for an entry. It is still natural stone: acidic liquids can etch the polish and strong pigments can stain it if left to sit. Occasional resealing keeps the surface protected, and how often it is needed depends on how much the console is used.
