Each table's color, veining and natural pitting are its own, with moderate variation between pieces, and the tones range from warm ivory to tan. It measures 18 inches in diameter and 20 inches high and stands on U-shaped travertine legs. The table suits a living room beside a sofa, a bedroom beside a bed, or an entryway as a place for keys and a lamp.

Matte stone on U-shaped legs

The honed finish gives a matte surface with a subtle texture under the hand, showing the veining without a high-gloss sheen. Below the top, U-shaped legs give slim, contemporary support. The base is open, so the table does not crowd a small room or add visual clutter. Travertine has natural pits and cavities as part of its texture, and on a honed surface they read as depth in the stone. Each table is shaped and finished by skilled hands, and no two are alike.

Care

Light Travertine is a porous calcite stone with a honed surface. This table arrives sealed for initial stain protection, and how often it is resealed depends on how much it is used. Acidic drinks and cleaners can etch the surface, spills left to sit can soak in, and the natural pits in travertine can collect dust. With time the stone gains marks and patina that add character rather than detract from it.
