Rosso Levanto Above-Vanity Tapered Vessel Bathroom Sink

Rosso Levanto marble, a tapered bowl

This vessel sink is hand-made from Rosso Levanto marble quarried in Turkey. Its rich red stone, crossed by natural white veining, is shaped into a tapered, conical bowl 16 inches in diameter and 6 inches high, and polished to a smooth gloss.

A sloped profile in red marble

The bowl narrows from a wide rim toward its base, a sloped profile that gives it an architectural line on the vanity. The polished finish is smooth and brings out the depth of the red and the contrast of the white veins. Rosso Levanto is a natural marble, so each sink has its own mix of veining, color movement and mineral character.

• Tapered shape A conical bowl that slopes from a wide rim to a narrower base.
• Polished finish A smooth surface that deepens the red and the white veining.

On top of the vanity

The sink is designed to sit on top of a bathroom vanity or countertop. It suits modern interiors, traditional renovations, hotels and custom residential projects. The 4 cm drain hole takes standard drain fittings.

• Size 16" diameter × 6" H, walls 2 to 3 cm thick.
• Drain 4 cm drain hole for standard connections.

A flat counter, a tall faucet

The counter must be flat, level and strong enough for solid marble. A drain hole is cut to match the 4 cm drain, and the narrow base is set in silicone. The rim stands 6 inches above the counter, so use a tall vessel faucet or a wall-mounted spout.

Care

Rosso Levanto is a polished calcite marble and a porous stone, so acidic liquids can etch the polish. Sealing slows absorption, and how often it is resealed depends on use.
