Verde Antico Green Marble Rectangular Wall Mount Fluted Bathroom Sink

Verde Antico marble, fluted

This wall-mount bathroom sink is carved from a single solid block of Verde Antico marble quarried in Turkey. Every part of it, from the basin to the fluted sides, comes from the same stone, with no joints or assembled pieces. Verde Antico is a deep green marble with lighter green shades and white veins running through it, and the pattern changes from block to block, so each sink is one of a kind. It measures 25 inches long, 13 inches wide and 6 inches high.

Vertical flutes in green marble

The outside of the sink is fluted: a row of vertical grooves carved into the stone. The flutes give the piece architectural depth, catch light along their edges and draw the eye, which a flat-sided basin cannot do. Combined with the green and white veining, they make the sink a strong feature on the wall. The whole piece is polished, so the dark greens look deep and the white veins stand out clearly. Moderate variation in veining and color between pieces is normal for this marble.

• Fluted exterior Vertical grooves carved into the solid stone, not applied.
• Polished green marble Deep green with white veins, polished to bring out the contrast.

Primary baths and powder rooms

At 25 by 13 inches, the sink gives a practical basin while keeping a slim profile on the wall, which suits a powder room as well as a primary bath. Mounted on the wall, it removes the bulk of a vanity base and leaves the floor open, so the room looks larger and the sink appears to float. It can also be set on top of a vanity if storage below is wanted. It is best suited to rooms where natural materials and a bold color matter more than the lowest possible maintenance.

• Size 25" L × 13" W × 6" H, one piece of marble.
• Mounting Wall-mount, or set above a vanity.

Brackets and blocking

Natural stone sinks are heavy, and even strong wall anchors can weaken over time without reinforcement. For a wall-mount installation, the wall needs blocking between the studs and proper support brackets, so the sink stays secure and does not sag over years of use. Plan a wall-mounted faucet and the drain position before the wall is closed. A professional installer who understands the weight is recommended. Set above a vanity, the top must be flat, level and strong.

Why we chose it

• Carved from one block Basin and fluted sides are a single piece, with no joints.
• A rare color Deep green marble with white veins, different on every sink.
• Made to order Each sink is made to order, with custom sizes available.

Made to order

This sink is made to order on two schedules. The 3 to 4 week option ships sooner, while the 8 to 14 week option is the lower-priced choice. If 25 by 13 inches does not fit the wall, the sink can be made in a custom size or finish. To start a custom order, contact us with the measurements.

Care

Verde Antico is a porous marble, so acids such as citrus or vinegar can etch the polished surface and spills can stain it if left to sit. It needs sealing, and how often it is resealed depends on use, often once a year.
